Accessible design

Adapting tools, toys, modifying environments… these are all key aspects of Occupational Therapy practice. Watch this talk from the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) as they start celebrating 100 years to get some fun ideas using technology- some things we normally would not even think to make accessible for kids! But we all recognize how important play is for all children so lets think how we can help children with disabilities to play and do the things the really want to be doing!

Here in Nepal we may not have so much access to high technology but this means we need to be even more creative in what we do have and also remember that more and more technology is available here too we need to remember to use it when available!
