1st time at NDF: 10th ANOT meeting!

ANOT members happy to have our first ANOT meeting at the National Disabled Fund (NDF) office. Here they have had Occupational Therapy service for almost 4 years from Japanese volunteers sent through JICA.

We want to say thankyou to NDF for hosting us there (ndfund.org.np). We were able to meet in the office and have a tour of their facilities also. Its good to see even in a relatively small space a team with Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Prosthetics and Orthotics working together.

Our executive board posts were reviewed and re-elected as follows:

PRESIDENT: MANOJ RANABHAT HAS BEEN HANDED OVER RESPONSIBILITY WHILE PUSHPAK NEWAR IS AWAY.

VICE-PRESIDENT: SHAILJA SHARMA

SECRETARY: KIRSTIN HAWKSHAW

TREASURER: KESHAB SITAULA

Congratulations to those in new posts! We also welcomed Akiko; Another OT from JICA who is providing OT services now in Dhulikhel hospital for the first time so we are looking forward to seeing a full OT department opening there soon and our next meeting is scheduled to meet there too!
